I am looking to buy a 2011 Audi S4 with DSG transmission. The 2011 DSG's are known for mechatronic failure. My question is has anyone of you guys got this repair done recently and if so how much did it cost. The car that I am looking at has 89000 miles.

I have tried looking on the internet and calling a few Indy shops. The estimate varies from 1500$ to 8000$.
