Looking at used S4, probably not CPO
Looking at buying a used B8 S4,
Just wondering if members of this forum can share what weak spots there are on the B8 S4? I know the other engines have carbon and/or oil consumption issues (our 2010 avant had the pistons done), just wondering what the S4's endemic problems might be? I have done a bit of research and I am aware of the secondary air carbon issue, which seems to be an easy repair, and is covered by Audi up to 190K km.
There seems to be a greater selection of S4's in independent dealer lots vs. Audi dealerships, not sure why.
