Red “Brake” warning

So I hit a hairpin turn on-ramp this evening at a pretty high speed...
I was pushing it a bit, well cuz it’s fun I guess.
Didn’t hit the brakes at all through the turn and coming out of the turn a bright red “BRAKE” indicator lights up on the dash along with some beeping.

Q: Is this a warning telling me to press the brake because there’s a sensor of some kind and it just knew?

Or is the car telling me something about the brakes?

FYI, I did change the front pads myself this past weekend.
Doesnt seem like there was anything I could have done but anything is possible.

Also, the light went off as soon as the car straightened and leveled out.
The turn was banked pretty hard as well.

Thoughts?

I had the same problem when I accelerated hard (even in straight conditions). I looked up the indicator light in the manual and it was for low brake fluid. I added brake fluid and the light + beeping stopped. (an aside:... I could not find any indication of brake fluid level, so I just added a random amount).

Yeah, I think I didn't fill the reservoir enough when I changed the brakes.
Added fluid the other day and problem solved.

It's REALLY hard to tell when that reservoir is full.
You just keep putting fluid in and it looks like it's going to overflow and then it settles down.
