I used the Bosch 0281002401 3bar MAP sensor. Since the stock 2.5bar sensor has a larger diameter at the seal, this 3bar unit requires a grommet to adapt it to seal in the original 2.5bar MAP hole....

Since you're not getting any hits... I don't have personal experience with either... BUT they are 2 entirely different vehicles. A5 is a bit smaller 2-door coupe/hatchback, A8 is a big 4-door sedan....
