Welllllllll its about that time where I have to change the timing belt on my 1998 b5 a4 2.8l.

I just want to know if anyone has any suggestions on a certain timing belt that will perform better than the one that my audi came stock with. I've been looking all morning and I'm still not very sure on what I should be looking at.

The construction of the belt isn't the problem, its the amount of tension thats exerted on our belts that cause them to snap. The best quality for the money is www.ecstuning.com

Is this going to be the cheapest for me? (noted below)
order an ECS timing belt kit online and have a EUROcar specialist install it for me
or is there a better way?

 

Thats how i would do it, your buying the belt set for much cheaper than from the dealer and the labor is also going to be under the dealers labor rate as well.
