Aftermarket Catalytic Converters - which ones pass the emission test?
A4 1998 2.8L V6 Gas Quattro - both cats failed the emission test in WA (errors: P0432 and P0422).
The garage recommended to buy two $700+ cats. He had experienced that aftermarket cats did not pass.
I looked at Bosal, which is around $250 a piece, while Walker cats are about $85 a piece ref. link. Any recommendations for quality aftermarket cats that will pass the test?
And any suggestions for online sellers? stockwiseauto gets a good rating on resellerratings.
