Default wheels and springs?

Hi, I purchased an 00 180 fwd a few months ago and now I'm looking to get some new wheels. I was just wondering how bad it would look if I got 18 inch wheels w/o lowering the car. I am going to either get the rs4 replica wheels on ebay or 18x8 hp evos. If anyone has any idea or pics please let me know. Thanks in advance, -mike.

I actually just got 18 inch BBS' week before last and love em! The larger rim gives the appearance that it has been lowered a little but once I need to replace that stuff I'll be getting coil overs. Moding as stuff breakes. I'll post some pics later tonight if I get the chance.

I really like the way it looks with 19's and wish I could have gotten them but the price difference just didn't add up. Then again I wasn't looking at the most economical set.

With road conditions here in upstate NY, 19's are not practical. its hard to find a smooth surface. 18's are as big as I dared, and even that is a rough ride.
