I bought my 2002 audi tt 180black with grey leather 17" black rims kenwood deck puch sub and fosgate amp built in radar decter xm & sirius $16750 49900miles I fel like I got a good deal i shoped around for like 6months till I found this one....let me know what you guys think.....!!!!!

I think I see the Quattro badge over there but I'm not sure. Is it 5spd or Tip?
If your happy with it and can hadle the pricetag then I say you got a good deal. I paid $14k for my 2001 180TTQC with 72k miles in the middle of 06 and it was factory stock if you want a basis for comparison.
I hope you really love the car as the resale is probably going to drop considerably when the new TT's are released later this year. If you plan on keeping her around, as most of us do, its hardly a problem.
Get your timing belt done asap as you are approaching the danger zone (5yrs or 60k miles) and you dont wanna know what it costs to fix it if the belt goes. I would start trying to get rid of those tails too, its an Audi not a Honda, but its not your fault the car came like that

Oh...yeah I'm def going to keep her....I love the TT and I actully like the tail lights I thing they look good....Im wondering why is it ok to put on a audi TTthe same set of rims that a honda has on but not simial style tail lights.....who writes these rules? George Bush? is he listining? lol just joking do you really think the resale vlaue will go down that much? one more question how much should it cost to replace the timing belt?

Last I checked Ive never seen Rota wheels on an Audi. Or Mugen or Spoon either for that matter.
IMO tail covers are kinda gaudy, but if you like them then keep them doesnt matter what I think.
As for resale, I cant say for sure. Im almost positive it will drop off, but how much is another story.
The timing belt depends entirely on where you have it done. It can be as little as $500 to as much as $1200. Or $250-300 if you do it yourself. But it needs to be done or youre risking a $5k-6k repair.

The process isnt too difficult, and if youve ever done a timing belt youve already got most of what you need. However the 1.8T is an interference style motor so there is no room for error. If you're off by 1 tooth on the new belt you are risking the entire valvetrain and the pistons making contact.
If you want to do it yourself the one thing you need to be absolutely sure of is that the timing is DEAD ON the first time or youre toast. As mentioned the process is the same as most other t-belt jobs. The slack should be on the tensioner side and the waterpump side should be tight.

all you really have to do is make sure your Top dead center and there are notches to make sure your TOP dead center. Also you can turn the engine over by hand by turning the crank pulley to make sure no piston and valves make contact. if you dont think you can do it leave it to an experienced Audi or VW tech. there are certain procedures you have to follow in order to make it a safe and effective job. like the motor mount bolts must be replaced everytime you remove them. make aure you have some pentosin g12 pink coolant ONLY and replace the water pump, idler roller and pulley, tensior, serp belt, thermostat. etc
