Default Rear Differential

Thinking of changing out my rear diff fluid, does anyone know or have links to what type of fluid it takes. I think its the same as the transmition. 75/90 redline is what im thinking. Just to make sure that I have good stuff in there. Thanks

no its the special audi stuff go to ecstuning.com they have it there under the maintenence page. i believe it takes only one qt. i'm just go to my dealer to get it since its the same price minus the shipping cost. sorry ecs. also its a 17mm hex plug might have to get 2qts to top it off though

Hey! I dont want to sound ignorant, but here we go. The Haldex is different than therear differential? I have new Haldex Filter and fluid and was going to chasnge this weekend. Sould i also be changing the rear diff fluid please advise and could someone post the pics on how to do it. My bentley CD wont work Damn it.

go to bentley's website they have a new patch for the software that will make it work. yes the rear diff and haldex are totally diff not a lot of people are aware of this
