Here's a pic: http://public.fotki.com/RoberTT/tt_m.../img_0749.html

Also, is there a special way to remove the front seats? The 4 star bit screws on the sides look nearly impossible to get to.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZ.... Nope

Those are access covers to the fuel tank to get to the level sendors and the fuel pump.

Well, I have to admit from the pix I thought they might be speakers, but after taking the round covers off of mine, I decided to ask you guys. They definitely look nothing like speakers once you remove the covers! Doesn't seem like too bad a place to have put speakers though -- would give a nice rumble in the @$$ of whatever poor sap you cram back there

why would there be a speaker under the seat? the sound would be horrible.

They are access to your fuel pump and tank. I had to access the same panels in my bmw's before.

i was def joking when i posted that....they look like speakers but you can clearly see from the pic they they have no grill or mesh so the sound would be very bad. and i think its the one on the left that has the fuel pump under it. if i remember correctly

It would make sense that the "door" for the gas tank would be on the same side that you put gas in... right?
Let's see how my car logic works! [8D]

Actually, both doors get you into the tank. The one on the passenger side hold the main fuel sender and the fuel pump. The secondary sender is on the driver side.
