Does any one have a simple fix. Usually when you close the door the inside lights dim then they are off. MOine all of a sudden this AM wanted to stay on. Any help would be great.

And My Bentley CD wont work I updated it and it still wont work. any help there?

 

It happens from time to time for me. Just turn the switch off above the mirror. Try turning it on again later and see if the prob goes away. For whatever reason, I think the computer gets confused now and then.

 

Can you lock your doors when the lights won't turn off?

Mine was doing that, I had a couple places tell me its a microswitch in the door latch assy. Its right on the verge of being out of adjustment, so only occasionally does it screw up. The only problem I have with that theory, is why doesn't it show the door as being open on the trip computer.

You seemeed to be right when I got back into car after work I noticed it worked it seeds like it might be getting stuck. It has like a little delay when its suppose to dim. If you k now what Im saying

Yep, that is exactly what happens to me. Just shut it off on the switch above the mirror and try it again after you've stopped, parked, started, a couple of times. It will magically start working again.

 

Mine were actually turning on while I was driving. I'd hear a click like someone hit the unlock button, and the lights would come on. Like Steve said, I'd hit the switch and leave them off for a bit, and next time I got in the car, they'd work fine (for a while).
