Default More MBC Help

Need some more help w/ my MBC. I got the car chipped, and when running off the N75, the car peaks at 19 psi and holds at 15. When running off the MBC, then car peaks around 16-17 and holds at 10-11psi. I adjust the MBC, drive for a few miles, and no changes. I adjust it up a little, drive for a few miles, no changes. Do I have something installed wrong or what? The car feels way stronger when I run off the N75. Here's a couple pics, maybe someone will see something:

well its quite possible that its getting a wrong kind of reading and causing you to lose boost. i can see there is another port where a hose can go on the mbc. why did you leave it as it is?

I was under the impression that was just a blow-off type port that didn't need anything connected to it, i don't really know for certain though

Your right, its an exhaust bleed of nipple, no line needed

You need to close the valve completly and take it on a few hard pulls and then open it a few clicks at a time, making a few hard runs inbetween.

Alright, so I closed the valve completely, and after about 15-20 miles of hard runs, it was still boosting to peak 15 and steady at 10psi. I would have thought closing the valve would have completely dropped the boost at least below what it was at. It did seem to smooth out the boost towards the ends of my trip, so that when it peaked up to 15 it wasn't quite a jump, more of a smooth progression up to 15, then drop back to 10. ????

Alright, I hadn't tried opening it, I just thought it was odd that the boost didn't change w/ the valve completely closed
