New Audi owner in VA
I just bought a Certified 2003 A6 Quattro 3.0 and I love it. I am a high mileage driver and I want to be able to keep this a long time. What kind of service do I need to do? When I was looking at the service schedule, it says oil change every 10k and then a "real" service every 30k. Do you think this is good?
Also, I'm in Richmond Virginia. Does anyone know of a good independent service place that I can take my car to besides the dealer?

as long as you continue to run FULL SYNTHETIC oil, that you could prolly get by on a 10K interval, but, most of us go 3K-5K between service. Since you boungh a CPO'd car, unless they can PROVE it was serviced at the recommended scheduled maintainance intervals, you may want to shorten that 10K down. You didn't mention what the current mileage is. Mind sharing? You're gonna wanna schedule a timing-belt/waterpump service/replacement PRIOR to 90K. for any model specific info you're gonna hafta post up in the A6 section.
