SpeedTuning Chip Group Buy $125 —10minimum required!

I think many people were missing the SpeedTuning group buy on AudiForum a while ago. I have contacted Oliver in SpeedTuning and he is happy to accept a group buy of the tune. Stage 1 or Stage 2 Power chip for the 1.8T (1.3bar). 2.8V6, 3.0V6 and TFSI($150) are also welcome!

"All 1.8T’s, 2.8l V6 30v, 3.0l V6 30v US$ 125.00.
All older 4.2l V8 and older S4 2.7T US$ 150.00.
All newer S, FSI and TFSI if we have them covered US$ 150.00, but check back with us first."

Price is $125(may vary, see above) + return shipping(2 day USPS US$ 10.00, USPS Express US$ 20.00)

So here is the plan:

"payment through, check or money order or cash to SpeedTuning, we would need a minimum of 10 already paid customers then the group buy starts, USPS 2 day shipping US$ 10.00, USPS Express shipping US$ 20.00. We would need your full name, address and phone number. "

When we have more than 10 buyers, buyers pay $125+return shipping cost of your choice to SpeedTuning and specify the informations (name, address, phone number, ride etc). After ST received all the payments, than we can send out the ECUs individually with a note that includes the buyer’s informations, etc so that ST knows you have paid.

I am just an organizer of this group buy, payment will made by the buyer directly to SpeedTuning.

Count me in I can't pass up this good of a deal, I've been saving for the $250 for the regular price of a ST chip and now that this GB has come about, my current chip fund is only 50 bucks shy of sufficing, which is a small enough amount to mooch if I have to

I would like to clarify on the shipping however, I'm pretty sure I understand this right but we pay to ship it out, and send an extra $10 to cover return shipping, so the total payment to ST is $135 which makes the total cost all together $145?

 

Oh and for payment, how do they process the payment? Do we just send the check or cash with the ecu or do we mail it to them, and once its all confirmed then send in the ECU? Any chance they'd take paypal?

 

Oliver in SpeedTuning said payments have to made first. Once it is over 10 paid customers, then we can start sending out the ECU's.

I have talk to him about using Paypal and I suggested we will pay the extra paypal fee, but he said it is not necessary because checks worked great for the last group buys that they did.

I am so dissappointed that only you and one of the audizine member interested in....if people are not interested in this group buy, I might have the GIAC chip instead.

you can count me in. the only thing is....... do we need to send it in at a certain date or can we send in within like a week of paying. Also I would like to pay with paypal because I dont trust sending a check, if that is cool.
