Who'd win? The 3.5 Maxima (04+) And the Last gen sentra se-r..not the brand new ones.

The SE-R wouldn't be in the running. Quite frankly, in my opinion, those are super gay. No bash on Nissan, but those cars induce vomiting. The 2.7 and the Maxima would be a fun race but I would have to put my money on the Maxima. I have driven my buddies 3.5 and it has a suprising amount of TQ and pulls pretty hard.Lots and Lots of snapin those. Torque steer is a biotch in those things. My buddies gave my 4.2 a run for it s money once. He was hanging off my rear bumper the whole time.It should be close, but again,I vote for the Maxima.

And in conclusion.....I am always down for a good tricycle race..Pedal On Mother F***ers!

is there a big difference between an '03 Maxima 3.5 and the current model? Reason I ask, is I can take a guy from work in his Nissan Maxima 3.5.....not easily but I'll beat him just the same.

 

No, no real difference. Maybe a few hp, but that's it. If you can beat an older one, you can beat a new one.




EDIT- I actually just realized the '03 was the previous gen Maxima. The newer ('04 and up) ones are a little quicker, but not by a whole lot. They have more power, but they weigh more.

 

A6 And Maxima will be close..

It really depends on if you or the maxima has anything done. If you are chipped you will walk him. If not it will be super close, but he'll probably pull you. If you want to embarass him just spend the $600, tell him its stock, bet $600 on it, walk him, and win the money back that you just spent on the chip! Hahahaha thats what i'd do.

The SER will go 0-60 in 7.5 seconds with a damn good launch. No contest. I'll race u with my bike. 0-100+ in 6 seconds.
