id def choice the Evo over the STI

Not necessarily.......do you know how much maintenance is on the s4? Unless you are a little rich boy, I seriously doubt you will like how much the s4 costs to maintain/upgrade......to get 400whp, it is about 13,000, whereas to get 400whp on an a4, it is more like 6,000.

 

or if you have a job and you can pay for it, sorry if you have a problem with people who are more fortunate than you are

if your talking about a 1.8T and getting 400 whp for 6000, i think you are a bit mistaken....let me know how if its possible...

 

just get an srt-4... my friends lightly bolted-on srt-4 kicks the **** out of lightly modded evos and STIs on a 30+ mph roll... anything below and he is just wasting rubber =)

and the srt-4 has a nice v8 tone if you slap in an exhaust.... its also cheap as hell.

give the American muscle a chance.

on another note: anything can beat anything if you put enough money into it.

I agree about the srt's, they are cheap as hell to make fast. But with the cheap price, comes a cheap interior. They just aren't comfortable to me.

And on another note. The a4 can make 400awhp on a garrett gt3071r-wg turbo. ATP, I know, even with not so good tuning made it on a :
2700 dollar harware kit
800 dollar software/injector package
1000 fmic
Custom 3" exhaust.....500 dollars at the most.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but that is actually less than 6k....granted you can install everything. I didn't think anything was that big of a deal.
