Tonight a 4th Generation unknown year, modded Ford , kindly pulls along side me doing 60mph. He pumps the pedal so I put it in 4th and hold 60. Hearing me down shift he guns it, his exhaust was louder than mine. He jumps forward so I floor it. Starting nearly bumber to bumber he advanced maybe three feet till I pulled on him, quitting once I put that distance on him, which didnt take long.(not even close to leaving 4th gear). The look on his face was disbelief. I've had my now stage 2 S4 for 5 years and this was my first Mustang. Nice and safe...Thanks for not being a dick about it Ford guy, I respect that.

Good Kill. Usually the FORD guys can be real cocky and annoying. I've faced a few guys in the past that were actually really cool and would stop to BS and swap stories but for the most part they think thier **** doesn't stink. Same with the F-Body crowd. It only takes a few dicks to ruin it for others and get a bad rep. I enjoy pulls from 70mph on a dry empty well lighted stretch of freeway. Thats where most of these guys fall. Damn 4.2 is like the energizer bunny, it keeps going and going (pulling and pulling). My car sucks off the line though...too damn heavy. Oh well...isn't a sports car anyway!

 

really, it always seems like the mustang guys are cool, interested in other stuff. Its the LS1 camaro/TA guys that think they have the hottest **** on the planet. I have yet to meet a F-body driver that care about any thing other than F-bodys. Not sayin it goes for all, but ive never met a cool one. And good kill, my slow little 2.8 put a suprised 94 5.0 driver in the dust, lol, i couldnt believe that.

 

This is why my next car is an S4!! Nice story!
