'05 S4 Lowering questions?????
I recently bought a new 2005 S4 and would like to lower the stance a little. I could use any kind of input anyone could give. This is my wifes everyday driver so I hate to compromise the ride quality to much. I have seen several brands and so far I am leaning towards the TEIN H Tech. Open to any suggestions or experiences. Also wondering if there are any other suspension parts I should add while doing this job.

Tein is new to the Audi market. Bear that in mind.

The S4 already has a better suspension set compared to the previous years. Bear in mind that you would just be lowering for look if it is your wifes daily driver.

I've heard good things about Bilstein PSS9's for the s4.

RE: '05 S4 Lowering questions?????
I have h&r's on mine and the ride is firm but still very tolerable for every day use. The rear is quite difficult to adjust if you don't have a lift, so it might be a good idea to have a shop do that for you.

I agree with GSX above on the H&R setup. The adjustablity is nice and it's a very comfortable if you don't slam it all the way down.

2Bennett winds their own springs. They can be used on the stock strut or with their coil over set up, with or without the adjustable Koni dampers. I just installed the full 2Bennett adjustable system, having removed Johan Abt springs and Bilstein struts I had custom valved to increase the rebound damping and was surprised at the improvement. Still plenty firm, but less freeway hop because there is enough rebound damping to control the springs. The ability to tune the handling by adjusting ride height is pretty neat. Nice set up, highly recommended.
