A8L W12 - Suspension Amber Light
Hi all,
I have a 2006 A8L W12 with 62,000 KMs. Seems like this car (or the mechanics) is gonna give me more woes than expected. I recently took it to the Audi Dealer for changing all four brake pads. A few hours later, I went back and picked up the car. As soon as I drove off, I noticed something was wrong with the ride height, I pressed the CAR button to change the settings for Adaptive Air Suspension which to my surprise, were disabled. I also noticed a flashing green icon as well as an Orange/Amber icon that stayed on. I called the gentleman at Audi to lodge my complaint and to seek his advice for something I thought was a settings issue. He kept repeating, “We do not touch the suspension while doing a brake job”. After having tried turning the engine on and off several times and looking into Adaptive Air Suspension options, the suspension options appeared and I was able to lift the car. However, it went back to the same mode after a few minutes. The orange/amber icon is staying on. I am sure something happened during fixing the brake pads where they damaged sensors, air compressor or the whole suspension system itself.
any ideas?
