Autofoam for handling

Hi guys,

I was wondering whether u have come across such mod where the chassis (A, B, C pillars) are injected with a PU foam thereby strengthening the chassis and improving the handling? If yes, care to share whether it will affect the crumplezone of the car and whether it will be difficult to repair the chassis when there is an accident?

Thanks

RE: Autofoam for handling

not a good idea at all the foam holds condensation which is water, the frame is designed that way for safety and so it can breath and yes it will effect the crumple zones and could invalidate your insurance
