B6,C5 upper control arm ball joint pinch bolt removal
 

I am getting ready to replace some front end parts on my B6 and C5. Any tips or tricks to remove stuck upper ball joint pinch bolts short of buying VAS 6085 tool? I will get them out one way or the other but would not like to apply "Blacksmith" skills if I don't have to.
