how do I tell what springs are on my car?
I bought a 1998 A6 and it's lowered already. I see that is has yellow Koni's on it, but I can't tell what kind of springs are on it (can't see a logo). Is there anyway else to find out?

get dirty =) pull the wheel off, and from there you should be able to see a great amount of the spring. If not, you've got some more work ahead of you if you really feel like knowing what kind they are. If you're not sure how, im almost positive theres a DIY writeup on how to do springs/shocks. Just look around man, we're all here to help you out

Ok... looks like I'm getting dirty then... thanks.
This thing is low... too low. It looks amazing, but I really need it for a daily driver (plus my wife wants to drive it too).
ETA: I found out what springs are on it and I think I need to move this to the A6 section for some different answers now. thanks.
