Like driving in a tin can

Hello everyone,

1st of all i would like to say.. Wow what a nice forum and why didnt i find it before.

Ok heres my problem

I have a ´96 Audi A4 2.6 sedan with Automatic and clima.
My question/problem is, i wanted to lower my audi because i bought 18" wheels. For this i asked the dealer what he thought was needed. we talked about it and ordered 40mm lowering springs from Lesjöfors Fjäder AB in sweden. artno. 45 042 25. Then we also got some Monroe Reflex Shock Absorber. After this we found out the wishbones and control arms needed replacement. OK after all this was made i got my car back and now it feels like its a box im driving in. When the road is flat and not bumpy its ok but the smallest bump or dirt on the road and i can feel it in the car. When i drive slowly over a "bigger" bump it sounds and feels like something is loose, i cant feel it in the steeringwheel but i can hear it. heh i know its a tricky question, but i hope someone here knows the problem and can maybe help me. I think its the springs that cant take the weight of the car but im into this spareparts thing.

So if u have any idea plz post. Coz im so sick of my car as it is now.....

/KH

P.S. Sorry for my english...

Your English is excellent, I couldn't tell it was your second language. With most ESL people here I have to guess what they're saying...

Why not take it back to your dealer? They did the work, they should get it working how you want it. Those shocks are probably adjustable.
