Ok so I have been reading and reading old post. Heres what I have 05 s4 with 18 giana rims with a 3 inch lip 235x40x18 . I want to lower my car as much as possible but need to be able to put the stock wheels on with blizzx tires because I live in IL and drive alot in the winter. I have noticed TEIN and Eibach sell springs around 300 and state a 1.5 to a 1.2 inch drop. I dont want to roll my fenders or have tire rub.So which kit is recommended? race is like 2 inch do they rub? can I use stock? Give me your advice please

 

are you wanting to run just springs or springs/struts? i belive that you are gunna have rubbing issuses if you go with the race spring. if you drive alot in snowy conditions then your probubly wanna stay away from them anyways, because even if you dont rub your lower aid damn is gunna be taken alot of hits from snow drifts etc. i put on Neuspeed springs alone and the drop was 1.5 all around. then you have to take into consideration how much they will settle. i got those for 200 shipped through mjmautohaus.com. if you were gunna pick from those two, i would take the Eibach spring only on the fact that i have heard more good things of them.
