magnetic suspension

I searched and could not find what I needed to know about the magnetic suspension. What does it do and how does it work? And finally what models and years have this or is it just an option?

Nah, it's a system featured in the new TT and probably soon other new Audis. The shocks are charged with a magnetic fluid. Depending what current is run through them the fluid is made more or less viscous, making the shock firmer or softer.

Magnetic suspension is AMAZING. My bosses wife has it on her new Cadillac, and after riding in one without it, it's like a whole different car. If you have the option for it, get it, you won't regret it at all (unless you need to repair one of the compnents out of waranty!)
