springs/shocks/19's.
So... I've got bilstein sport shocks installed. I'm pretty sure just that, i'm assuming OEM springs, but the ride sits pretty damn low. Here's a couple pics of how im sitting right now. My question is, if I'm sitting like that, what are my chances I can run 19" wheels? or even 18" for that matter? My main concern is rubbing. I really dont want to be rubbing when i take those corners. Any input would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks,
Monty.

Easy way to know. What is your stock rim size & what are the tires size currently on your rims? My guess just looking at your pic. Is you have 17x8 rims and your tires are at least 225/50/17. If that is the case, then going with 18" rims and either ???/40/18 or ???/35/18. The ??? is left open cause not sure what width your new rims are.
Note: You may have a bigger wheel gap if you choose to go with a lower series tire.

stock wheels on this car are 16's. I'm not sure on the current tire, but I can get those when I get off work, so i'll edit those in when I get home. But thank you very much for the information. I'll play around with a few setups and see how it looks.
Thanks again,

that looks like you have aftermarket springs... idk that the shocks could lower it that much. anyways im pretty sure you can easily fit some 18s in there, and probably some 19s, depending on the with of the rim and the tire profile...

instead of making myself look more and more like a fool, i know i have bilstein shocks. For springs, im not sure, i'll look into them tomorrow. As for the tires, I will get measurements tomorrow as well. Then i'll post up the dimensions of the wheels id like, if someone could help me with tires? I'm not very educated when it comes to that.

dont put 19"s on your ride....99% of the time they look terrible...
go for 17 or 18....I am pretty sure I am lower than you and I am running 225/40/18 on some 18x8.5"....
you'll be fine on 18"s, just dont buy super big tires...althogh if you needed to it does look like a set of 235/40/18 would fit fine....

Think of your tire as a box: it has height, width, and depth. As long as your aftermarket wheel and tire package fit into the box, you'll be fine. Lets say your stock wheel/tire package is about 25" tall and just under 9" wide. That equals a 215/50-16, a 225/45-17 or a 225/40-18.
The depth is the swing the wheel goes through as you turn the wheel, and it is controlled by wheel offset. That's just how far in or out the wheel is offset from the center of the wheel to the inside edge. If you get too little offset, something is going to rub on the fenders over bumps and in turns, or if there's too much offset, the inside of the tire will hit the suspension strut, and you will learn first hand what 'cutting down a tire' as they say in NASCAR, is all about. Hopefully not on the freeway.
