Default will oem shocks hold up?

I have a b7 quattro, 3.2literwith 12k miles. I'm trying to decide if the oem shocks will hold up with eibach springs. I checked eibach, neuspeed and ecs tuning for spring/shock combo but it's not available for my car. Coilovers is too much and I won't fully exploit them. I won't be taking the car to the track or anything, it's just to lower.

They'll be fine - OEM struts are strong and will have no problem with those springs, especially given your mileage. Many have run more extreme springs than Eibach on much older stock struts with no issues. Go for it.

they'll hold up for a while, but not near as long as with OEM springs as they're not a matched set. Start saving for the upgraded struts/shocks now. That way, you'll have the cash when they go out and it won't be a hardship.
