Label file for 1.6l ARM engine
Hi all,
I own a 2000 A4 B5 Avant with a 1.6l ARM petrol engine (100hp). I'm having problems with the car stalling, so cleaned the Throttle body, but that didn't really change anything. It keeps stalling (after driving for 10+ minutes). So after reading through these forums, I bought a cable (the blue kind) off Ebay and tried VCDS-lite, wanting to do a TBA. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it seems that since the program can't find a label file for my engine, it can't do much. The log shows: "Address 01: Engine Labels: Redir Fail! Controller: 3B0 907 557 N Component: 1,6l R4/2V SIMOS HS D04 Coding: 07011 Shop #: WSC 06325 VCID: 341B9FD31723 1 Fault Found: 01087 - Basic Setting Not Performed 27-00 - Implausible Signal" After clearing all error messages, it still says "redir fail". Does this prevent it from doing a TBA? The closest lbl files I could find are "06B-907-557-ALT" and "06B-907-557-AJP" - would any of them be suitable for my engine? And if so, how would I tell VCDS to use one of those files? cheers |
