Vagcom Windows Problem
 

I am trying to get my computer to talk to the car using an original Vagcom and I keep getting a Microsoft error telling me that the program had an error and has to shutdown, driving me crazy if anyone has any thoughts I would TRULY APPRECIATE IT thanks. 1999 A6 Avant 2.8.

Why not, uninstall Vag-com & try reinstalling it.

Also reboot.

I tried that and a different laptop and it's like there is something charging that will only let me talk for 30 seconds then times out, if I disconnect the battery and let it sit for about 15 minutes it will talk again for about 30 seconds and do the same thing again. Thanks for the reply
