Default 1969 Datsun 2000 Roadster Convertible

Hey guys, new to this forum but ive been around the block for a while. I belong to and moderate various AWD forums, used to have a rally wrx I built up, I restore lambo's and ferrari's for a living, and right now im trying to sell my car asap because I have another job coming up and I no longer have time for my toy that I bought a month ago. Basically im looking to sell but what I really want is a Manual audi, I prefer an avant so if you have something to trade then im up for it. I needed this gone this past weekend so the sooner the better. Ive provided my cell phone so if you are interested call and leave a message, please be honest...if your car is worth significantly less then I expect added cash, however I can't add any so if its worth more than mine I will have to pass. The car is a daily driver that is 90% complete, please read the ins and outs ive provided.

Thanks!!!

I need this sold ASAP so call me at 619 200 0637 and leave a message

$10,400.00
1969 2000 Roadster Convertible
5spd Manual 14,800k miles on motor rebuild
Pearl white exterior, leather seats

Quick overview

Purchased the car 1 month ago and recent job offer forces sale.
Car drives...I know it drives because I drove it 7 hours and 300+ miles from Fresno to San diego going 85mph and even 2 hours in stop and go LA traffic with NO issues!!

Car went through a complete chassis up rebuild 4 years ago.
Motor was rebuilt, suspension components were gone through, New carpet kit, Door leather kit, Custom Dashboard, New electronic VDO gauges, ALL NEW wiring kit, minilite wheels put on, exterior painted pearl while, engine bay painted grey hammerite, etc...

Since ive owned I installed brand new F + R KYB shocks, datsun supersport competition springs, Autopower roll bar with wind mesh, dash mount rear view mirror, fire extinguisher.

The previous owner installed a new clutch kit about 3 months ago. A few things that need attention are: Exterior - right rear quarter panel and door were hit in a parking lot. Instead of fixing it the owner kept the money and sold the car to me. Ive since repaired the quarter panel dent but have yet to bodywork the doors or a blemish on the right front tire/bumper. I shot the bodywork with white paint so you cant really see it in the pictures!! The paint all around is pretty nice, it wont win shows but its not bad to drive around for this summer either. All the gauges work with exception of the water temp. The radiator was recored and when re-installed the thermostat wasnt put back in because he wanted to coolant to flow from the get go and keep on going and it does...very efficiently. The gauge was grounded and tested and a new temp sender installed. If you want to put the thermostat in its a $10 part. Car leaks a little oil but hey...its 40 years old!! The car also does not have a drivers side window, on that note I never drive with the top or windows up but if you really want one I can refer you to a local shop that can get them.

The car is nice, in its current condition it probably wont win shows but is great for the HOT cali. weather to cruise to the beach or wherever you want! Currently the car is driven back and forth to work. It has a soft top installed which I use at 3am in the morning and recently ive been using in the afternoon cause its tooooo HOT!
