Hey all,

I will admit I joined this forum as another place to post my car for sale. I am an established member of a number of M3 forums (m3post, m3forum - username 'NFDoms2k1') and Luxury4Play (username 'HERM3S').

The car for sale is a black '03 2.7T A6. To be honest I can't recall the miles, its somewhere between 110k and 120k (I am in Texas right now, car is in NY and battery died). I am posting this now as I will be back in NYC late next week (21st-24th) and am hoping to find a buyer to pick it up at that time. This A6 was my NYC DD for about a year and a half, and for the past year (moved to San Antonio about a year ago) it has been sitting in my mother's driveway in Staten Island while I pretty much avoided doing anything about it.

Its got to go now and before I donate it for nothing wanted to see if anyone was interested. To be honest its gonna need some work - Here are the issues: One of the wheels and tires need to be replaced if one can be found to match the other three (right before I moved I had a blowout and one of the rims cracked so I threw something on to take its place for the few weeks I drove it after that). As for the three good wheels I am pretty sure they are the upgraded option. I accidentally drove over a median at one point and it raked the area underneath the front driver side wheel (same one with placeholder wheel - unrelated) - I think there might be some damage to the tie rods and suspension. Of course I never had it looked at and put about 2500 miles on it after that no issues but some weird sounds. It has a sunroof but the internal cover piece gets jammed up (can be controlled manually - the actual glass works though). The exterior doesn't look bad if you ignore the typical battlescars of Brooklyn parking on the bumper (all paint, no dents or dings). The rearview fell off after suffering a blowout a couple of years back (btw the other three tires have about 10000 miles on it) - the rearview is a heavy SOB so I was never able to get it back on properly. To be honest half the time I drove without it. Unfortunately, due to my attempts to get it back up there there’s a ton of tape guts stuck to the inside of the window which would take some elbow grease to clear off. What else...the car won't start right now because the battery is dead, obviously that’s a simple fix that I can take care of myself. Can't think of anything else, although it was March 2010 when I last drove it.

This car would be perfect for an Audi mechanic or handy enthusiast to ****** up dirt cheap. KBB for dealer trade-in of this vehicle in "fair" condition is $5735. To be honest this vehicle is probably a little worse off than "fair" by KBB standards. I am hoping to get $2800 negotiable for it - that should more than cover any potential repairs, especially if someone is doing them on their own and just paying for parts. It should also cover the convenience to me to just make it disappear. Since it really can't (without registration and insurance) be driven it would have to be picked up. Not sure how much towing costs but I could split that with interested parties.

If it goes past a week from Sunday with no interest I am going to have to donate her and hope for the best with tax break. Naturally anyone who wants to see just it let me know and we can meet up so you can check out the car. I have plenty of references in the Northeast car scene as well.
