ISO audi 200tq or similar project <1000
Looking for audi project for race car. I just missed a 90' 200 20v tq that would've been awesome for $800, so I know they are out there. I'm aiming for $500 but will pay alittle more if there are many good sellable non-drivetrain parts. If you don't have one do me a favor and check your local craigslist for me.
Also I can do alot of repairs so let me know even if you have questionable conditioned cars.
Much Thanks,
Adam

I know where there is a 90' 200tq that "runs but needs work" for $750. The car doesn't look bad, has a set of Borbet 15" wheels, but I donj't know what's wrong with it, I keep telling myself that I don't need another project everytime I pass it, so I haven't stopped to look at it.

Thanks for the heads up. Whereabouts is it? I am in Texas but would go get the right car. Is there a phone number on the car you could send me?
a little off topic but is there a way to tell 20v and 10v cars apart? It seems any engine can be in any car regardless of options, and that 2.2 220 touches me in places, that if Loretta touched me there I would say "Oh yeah, thats the spot."

If it is a 1991 200 Quattro, it HAS the 20V 217hp motor. If it is NOT a quattro or not a 1991, it has the plain 10V motor. You can always tell the difference from the outside, by the flared fenders. Only the 20Vs received them!
P.S. If you say you just missed a 1990 200, it was not a 20V.
