Sun Roof - Power Everything - Large Trunk Chipped for extra peppy response - 5 Speed Manual Transmission First of all, the car has a clean title (not salvaged). It is priced as a part car. It was running prior to being parked and the battery dieing. Once again, this is priced below KBB fair condition for the following reasons. - This Audi does require to "double clutch" to put the car into 2nd and 3rd gear. What this means is that it will need some transmission work.
- The headliner will need to be replaced.
- Needs new tires
- A couple of electrical items, which are minor, need to be addressed. No radio, mirror control needs to be checked, AC needs to be checked (no big deal for that to wait), and speedometer not working.
- Several cosmetic pieces have come off.
- Carpet is worn in some spots, but carpet mats would fix that. I bought the car needing these items addressed, which I was planning to do. NOW the POSITIVESThis is a high-end car with with top line leather, wood, and trim. The car is solid and when taken care of these Audi's and get over 250,000 with no major problems. The leather seats are in good condition. The driver's seat is starting to come loose at the seam, which is an easy fix since it is at the seam. This is my 5th Audi and 3rd 200 quattro. These cars are amazing in the snow. I actually drove one in December from Utah through Doner's Pass (where cars were being stopped since chains were required), and they let me go without chains and running normal tires. This is due to the fact, of the quattro handling in the snow and ice. In the past I was concerned about a manual transmission and cell phones, but now with bluetooth technology that is no longer an issue. These are a blast to drive, especially this one that has a performance chip. It has a newer exhaust system. You just need to add a radio, since the speakers are already in place.
