The German TUV (Technical Inspection Association) has determined that in several European countries the clearance between fender and tire must be adequate to accommodate snow chains when safety requires.

In North America, where no such law exists, RS5 owners have the option of restoring Audi's original intention of providing a focused race-bred machine by widening their B8's stance, improving road-holding and performance aesthetics.

An aggressive 15mm front/10mm rear setup is available, as well as a more factory-look 12.5 front/8mm rear arrangement.
