My car just threw a cel for the cats, and the dealer rout is out of the question. I was hoping to pick up a used set here. Please let me know if you can help. I will be needing them shipped BTW.

I know its not easy trying to find cheap car parts especially if you go to the main dealers for your audi parts as they are very expensive. If you’re looking for used car parts, i normally use these guys to find my car spares, try them out if you get a minute!!

 

It is illegal to sell Used cat's in the United States and you definitly don't want to buy from the dealer. They do sell OEM cat'sonline for about 300$ ea. But I would reccomend getting other things checked before replacing cats, like O2 sensors, coolant sensor, and the other things that can cause a CEL for cat's. I currently P0421 which i believe is passenger cat but i've read its best to check a # of other things before replacing the cats.

I can let you know what I end up replacing in the next few days cuz I know the 3.0 have a lot of common problems. Also I would not rush to fix the cat code because it does no harm to your engine running with bad cats.
