My new job is in Downtown Los Angeles. The closest dealer is Audi/VW of Downtown Los Angeles (yes there is a VW dealership right next door and I bet their partsand service departments are shared). Does anyone have any experience with either of these dealers?

I understand that the general consensus is that standalone Audi dealers are generally superior to joint Audi/VW dealers.

CLARIFICATION: I already have an Audi, so I am mostly concerned about the service department.

 

I had a bad experience with their sales department, but nothing to do with the service. Personally, I won't go anywhere but Pacific Audi, but I have a good relationship with a service tech there. Looks the other way with the mods.

I was there a few weeks looking at the A3 but really think they just had bad vibes going on. The sales person knew less about the A3 than I did, and he was really not on the ball.
I went to Rusnak in Pasadena and really had a great sales guy and deal, if you want to talk to them let me know, I have some names for you!
