B7 Sputtering .. looking for local help.
 

I posted this under General Tech, but I was looking for some local help.

I started the car lastnight and all of a sudden it started sputtering. Gave it gas and it felt like it was going to die. I am out of warranty and basicaally "ballin on a budget" (lol). The sputtering was so bad that it had a hard time getting into my garage from the driveway.

Any help would be appreciated !

where you located? mods?

im in moreno valley .... as for mods, GIAC chip. it almost feels like the motor is not balanced .. i dont know if that makes much sense .

Did you get a cel. Also sounds like it's not getting fuel. check the gas gauge and add some. J/k but seriously. Anyway if it threw a cell maybe one night this week I can make the long journey out there and vag it for you.

good lookin out Doug and thanks for offering. turns out that one of the cells went out. i decided to change all four and change the plugs also. that would have been a sick treck just to vag my car .. thanks again Doug for even considering it !

I was just going to say it sounds like an ignition coil issue.... so it's fixed??

yeah, shes running like a champ ! Jet, I'll have you and Doug take a look at her when we get together for poker .
