Thanks to Penske Audi and crew for setting up a great event, they even brought a surprise "vintage" Audi . We drove up to Azusa canyon which was freakin fun. They also had a bbq at the dealership when we arrived, the place looks great, huge service garage. The people there were very friendly, nowI havea new place where I can take my car to...here are some pics

I've been thinking that the R8 was a cool little car, but didn't really understand why everyone was going SO ga-ga for it.

Until now.

That is one of the hottest automobiles I think I've ever laid eyes on.
The Audi brochures do NOT do it justice.
It's just too hot for words.

You should've heard it, that thing sounded like a beast. The guys there said it has the same engine as the RS4, the 4.2L V8 but it just sounded very different, more mean sounding

I didn't see anyone there I know from AF. I met up with a buddy of mine who I used to work with. That's his gray A4 next to mine in the first pic

Oh it was a blast, with so many Audis driving through the canyon led by the R8[sm=drooldude.gif][sm=gears.gif]

 

i didn't even see one A3 in th pix exept for the one taken at the Audi Dealer.
