Audi newbie here (Aug 2007)...looking to get chipped. I have decided on the APR Stage I. It appears to be bestfit for the added punch I am seeking. Please give me your shop recommendations.

I am also planning a cold air intake upgrade (carbonio)for performance and realiability reasons at the same time as the chip tuning. Is that highly recommended? Your opinions are welcomed.

 

Where are you at? You have 2bennentt in davis which does it but my suggestion is to go with revo or giac. Those can be found all over.

 

Live in Castro Valley;work on the Pennisula (San Mateo). Mac_17, What are reasons for suggestioning Revo or GIAC over APR? thank for the feedback.

 

NP, Revo and Giac are a little more aggresive. I have own an a6 that is apr tuned. I would just go with the others. I like apr other stuff.

If you want REVO, go visit EIP Racing in San Jose.

Some good shops to visit if you need any work done are 034 Motorsports in Fremont, BR Racing in Los Gatos, or East County European Auto Works in Brentwood. The owner of East County used to be a tech at Livermore Audi, but he left to open up his own shop.

 

New toaudi andtuning/performanceupgrades.Would welcome a recomendation from Audi owner that has some experience in the world of tuning/performance upgrading.located in Castro Valley(East Bay/Oakland) and work in San Mateo (pennisula).

I havebeenlearning via the web primarily since the purchase(audizine, fourtitude,audiforums).What shop did ur tuning on the TT and ur APR tuning on ur previous car? were uhappy with their work? did get u other things done toenhance or add to realibilty.

 

go to BR Racing in Los Gatos. they do my work. they can get you GIAC that is my recomendation. i have it on my b5 s4 and love it. i will use them when i go stage 3 also. check out
