AudiForums.com - BIRA S1 Big Brake Kit for Audi A4

I am selling my BIRA S1 brake kit that I had on my 1998 Audi A4. The kit includes BIRA designed aluminum brackets, large slotted Audi A8 rotors, Porsche Boxster calipers, 1 set each of Mintex road and track pads, wheel spacers, and associated brake lines and fasteners.
The kit is designed to fit the B5 series Audi A4 (from about 1997-2000) and installs with no modifications required.
If you're unfamiliar with BIRA, they manufactured a series of aluminum brackets designed specifically to upgrade Audis with Porsche brakes. The S2 kit used Porsche 911 calipers, which required bigger wheels and spacers. The kit I'm selling is the S1 kit, which uses Boxster calipers, providing nearly identical performance as the S2 kit, but with the ability to use stock wheels and spacing.
BIRA brakes were used with great success in autocross and club racing (although I never took mine on track).
These brakes are no longer available, so the only way to get one is to buy a used kit like this one.
I used the kit for about 20,000 miles before deciding to sell the car. Rotors and pads show little wear. BIRA brackets are in perfect condition.
