Brake Rattle!

Hello all!
This is my first time using the site and am glad to be a member.

I own a 2004 A6 S-line and recently installed the Blaufergnugen orbital slotted Meyle rotor kit with new Meyle pads.
I now have severe brake pad rattle when going over bumps. I have disassembled and reassembled twice using new anti rattle springs, bending the tabs on the inner pads so the hold more securely and used brake grease. They still rattle like crazy!
Has anyone here experienced this and if so what was the cure?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

pad noise

The problem is that the pads do not fit tightly (snug) in the pad carrier part of the caliper. Without the piston pressing on the pads, the pads are free to jiggle up and down. All is quiet on a smooth road or while comming to a stop - yes? I welded a drop of steel onto the backing plate of my pads (to make them taller - essentually) and then filed so as to just squeeze / wiggle into the caliper pad carrier. All quiet. Not kidding.
