i have the stock 16", 5 spoke A6 wheels (2001 2.7T) and michelin tires

do you know if your wheels will fit the A6 with no changes/modifications?

also, what shape are the tires in?

and, finally, do you have the spare as well?

i'm in mid-nj, but i never mind a nice road trip

1: They should fit Dennis, since they are a 5x112 bolt pattern, which should be the same as an 01 A6.
2: Tires are decent enough for sure - not new but not worn down too much either. I have attached a couple more pics of them, which are hopefully a little clearer- and they are super cheap after all
3: No, sorry, spare went with the car when I traded it.

Maybe you'd like the exhaust tips too to make the trip worth while

hi again ...

unfortunately, my a6 2.7t quattro has the exhaust pipes "hidden" (and facing downward), so i think i'd need the converstion kit, not just tips (i'm the "not handy" type, and reading the install instructions for the kit, there's hole-cutting on the bumper, cutting of the old exhaust pipes, etc ... and as much as i'd like to see my exhausts, i'm not going to do that myself, and i don't know if i want to spend hundreds to have someone else do it (assuming i can find someone, since i suspect my dealer won't do it) ... doyou have experience with that?

anyway, the wheels seem nice ... i'm not that big a fan of the 5-spoke a6 oem's ... let me double-check to try be sure that the wheels will fit ... my michelin tires are in good shape ... i'd probably just mount them on the new wheels, rather than use your tires (what kind of tires are they ... michelin?)

do you have someone near you that you trust that i could have the tires remounted on the new wheels if i came down?

finally, i'm going to williamsburg (current plan ... i already have the hotel res) on 05/31 to 06/02 ... would that be too late for you? (i'd stop by you on the way back on mon 06/02, around 10 or 11am ... or on sat am on the way down if mon didn't work)
