This set was used on my 2001.5 B5 S4 Saloon (Sedan) for about 15K miles (used as weekend car and for track & autocross events), and is a true RACE SPEC kit which was imported direct from H&R Spezialfedern GmbH (Germany).

Zip-Ties in photo are for shipping purposes so there is no guessing in re-assembly.
Also, the Front Upper Mounts have been marked.
Take them to your shop of choice for install, and they will know why I did this and thank you for it.
***Not to be mistaken with the common A4Q and S4 Coilover Kits available in the US. The Front Billet Upper Mounts and Rear Pillow Ball Mounts are not available in ANY H&R kit in the US market so this kit is truly RARE.***
You will not find this set anywhere else!

These coilovers originally came with the following:
Front springs: 1486 lbs/inch w/ Helper Springs
Rear springs: 1371 lbs/inch w/ Helper Springs

Springs were changed to reduce spring binding, stiffen rebound opposed to springs, and allow for increased stroke of the shocks.

Because of this, the following Eibach Race Springs were installed:
(as pictured in the 1st photo)
Front spring: 1100 lbs/inch w/ the original H&R Helper Springs & cut bump stops*
Rear springs: 1000 lbs/inch, removed Helper Springs, & cut bump stops*
*Bump stops were trimmed to gain stroke.
***Another note: This suspension kit has been corner balanced with 1/2 tank of fuel and a 140 lbs driver.***

The suspension felt much better by allowing better turn-in, added stroke, ease of weight transfer, and faster acceleration out of the corner.
Out of the box, your B5 Quattro will feel much more stable at mid to high speeds, while giving it that lowered stance.
