Default FS or FT: B5 A4 Coilovers

I am returning my Audi back to stock for resale. I have a very nice set of racing H&R Coilovers on the car right now. I need to get Some stock suspension to put on the car. I am looking for $600 + stock struts and springs. I don't care if they are blown. I have put about 20K miles on the Coilovers. They come with the adjusting wrenches. I'm in Orem Utah. I will not "hold" them. First come first serve.

Here are some pictures of the car with them on.

Any idea how well these would work on a B5 1.8TQM? I know they'll fit, I'm just not sure how they'd perform on 1.8T as opposed to an S4.

If they will perform just as well, I'm definitely interested. I've been in need of some coilovers for a while now.

I believe that everything built for S4's are stiffer just because of the sportyness of the S4 but they are very nice. Not extreemly stiff but they handle like a dream.

That's kind of what I was thinking but I'm just not sure about the heavier engine playing a role or not. I know they're adjustable, but I still feel I need to look into this a bit more. I'll keep you posted for sure.

Oh I'm in full agreement. H&R know what they're doing. The thing is, they offer coilovers with both progressive rate springs and constant rate springs.

The progressive rate spring kits are cheaper and provide a comfortable ride while still improving handling and lowering your ride. The drawback is, they don't get really stiff until they are compressed down a little ways.

The first and fourth kits from the left have progressive springs. You can tell that because the spring looks like it's been stretched out at the lower end (and it says so in the description). The middle two kits have constant rate springs. Which ones do yours look like? (I'm not trying to be condescending.)
