Just in the thinking stages... i got these from a friend of mine for the wifes wagon, she is not totally convinced of them, and wants to find something else. 2 of the 4 say "bent" on the back, but run straight and true... no vibration whatsoever. we made the trip from Central PA to Manassa VA for the bugout this weekend, and it ran great.

tires are marginal until winter at best (as that was my plan - then to get new tires in spring - if we kept the wheels)

no major curbage, a few of the spokes have some scuffs, nothing i dont think an afternoon with some sandpaper/bondo/paint woudlnt cure. they look worse in the pics than they actually are, what you see is a mismatched paint, that mostly came off when i clay barred the wheels.









they come with the oem centercaps as well.

any thoughts? trades? etc? I'm open to possible trades on some other 5x112 wheels. i'm at 17028 zipcode for mapping purposes. I do not want to ship, but could possibly meet somewhere within reason.

 

bringing this back from the dead.

as i said above - these are oem wheels, not replicas and come with the oem centercaps.

we now have 4 sets of wheels for the passat, so i'm going to let these go. the tires are now shot - no tread worthwhile even mentioning. during transport to the storage garage, 2 of them must have been face to face somehow [:@] and now have little scuffs on them from bumping. i have not tried to remove them as of yet, but will try some of my buffing supplies to see what happens.

i am not interested in any trades, unless you have 5x100 wheels and or 205/50 15 or 195/50 15 snow tires for my mk3.

i would really rather not ship them, as i'd want you to check out the wheels in person before buying them - just so we both know that everything is on the up and up

how shot are the tires....just curious

 

the 2 we had on the rear have some extreme camber wear to the insides - almost, if not down to cords in a few spots. the other 2 have tread, but not enough to pass inspection. you could put them on and drive them home, but i wouldnt continue to use them for very long. i ran them to mid november and then finally switched over to our winter wheels.
