I have 18x8 asa's with 255/35/18 on and they only (barely) rub when the wheel is fully locked. Day to day i have had no issues. Mine are 35 mm offset also

That is most likely due to your tire selection..try a 225/40 or 235/35.. 255 is going to be hard to fit with that offset, depending on how low you are. These wheels fit fine, no rubbing with a 225/40, and lowered as far as you can see in the photo. A 235/40 also fit, but rubbed a little at this height.
