Suggestions for a Brake Upgrade? '03 A4
 

I think I've decided to do some brake upgrades to my 2003 Audi A4 Quattro 1.8T and I'm on a veryyyy tight budget right now.

I'd like to keep all the modifications to under $300 if possible which rules out almost any new aftermarket "performance" parts. Instead I'd like to do a bolt-on conversion to better OEM brakes.

I've been trying to sort through everything and I've learned that all the B5 and B6 S4 brakes will go directly onto the B6 A4's, and this seems to be the simplest and most cost effective option. However, I also saw something about TT brakes too? If anyone could give me info on what the cost versus the benefits of all the available OEM brakes that will fit on my car that would be great.

Mainly I'm just wondering how well the different options perform so I can then look at the price and if, for example, B6 brakes provide 10% better performance for $100 more I can avoid them and save some money on a cheaper but slightly less effective option.

I already have EBC Sports Rotors (slotted & drilled) and 18" Enkei EVO6 Rims. I think I also plan on using Hawk HPS brake pads, but I do need brake fluid suggestions. Also if you could provide an actual link to where the brakes your recommending are sold that would be great! However, simply telling me an average price is fine too.

I'm looking into doing this to my 05 A4 Ultra Sport. ECS Tuning is clearing out some 312mm rotors slotted and drilled! For the front for $99.99 shipped! I'd say get them while you can. Now all i need is the 3.0L carriers.

MkI TT carriers and A8 rotors (312mm) will bolt right up as well. I'm piecing together this exact same set up now. Would have gotten the last piece in the TT carriers but MJM is out of stock until mid-august. FWIW, thats the cheapest place I've found them, $135 for a pair.
