I am looking to replace my current 17" inch wheels to 18's on my 2004 A6 S-line Quattro. Any direction on the specific size and specs that will work best?

The best "clean" fit (meaning no modification required) for your A6 would fall into this range:

Size 18x8 or 18x8.5
Offset between 30mm-40mm
