I have a 2012 S4 with the 19' wheel option. I recently noticed that the rims seem to have stains on them. It almost looks like there are dirty water stains on the rim in some locations and will not wash off or come out when I hit it with the mini Griots polisher.

Any ideas on how to remove the stains or minimize the effect?

Just use soap and a soft glove to polish.

I actually got resolution to the issue. I got the dealer I bought the car from to replace all the rims.

I have professionally detailed cars for years and never came across this. I used all my tricks and nothing worked. I finally went back to the dealer and asked them to do something about them and they just offered to replace the rims.

I guess it pays to be a good repeat customer of the same Audi dealer.
