Best tires; 2011 A4 low noise,fair $

Geeeezzzz ladies and gentlemen, all I want is 4 good tires without a 2nd mortgage!

OK, our first Audi...A4...Quatro...2011....245/45/R17. All season. Main concern is a tire that's fairly quiet and safe. Doesn't need to be an ULTRA anything.

So far I'm looking at anything from $850 to $975. Is this a good envelope?

And what has been your experience? Good? Bad?

Yeah, I know...ie...in Pennsylvania I can't expect high mileage to be an end result.

Have the same question and after seeing the lack of response, did you ever find the best tire? if so I'd like to know since I'm replacing all four of mine on my 11 A3 I've spent a lot on upgrades, latest victim the clutch because of extra hp.

Yep

Finally settled on Continental Conti-Pros. $70 rebate, culminated in $904.

At this point I can say it's worth it. The road noise, ride, handling, consistent PSI...and had the dealer do the deed. Wanted to avoid any possible discussion of " well it could be the dealer's balance"..."oh it must be the tire dealer".

I finally determined a 50k auto ain't gonna' like $75 Kenda tires!
Your Audi model must have a certain tire listed as OE. Do it friend.
